I have a colorized print of "Cree Chief With Buffalo Skull" that according to family history, was passed down from Eklund to my grandfather Erik Albert Engstrom. We were told that my grandfather would stop and visit with Eklund, Chief Young Boy and Charlie Russel, when visiting Great Falls on his supply trips from Chester Montana. I've tried to verify this information but have not been able to find any proof of this association.

Hi Sheryl, Can you send me a scan of the image? Just by having your copy of the image sounds like pretty good verification. Have you checked with the local historical societies for information? Is the colorization a one of a kind, or is it a photochrome process, possibly by the Detroit Publishing Company? Than you for writing! Best regards, Ray Chipault
