China April 22, 1943
Major General Jimmy Doolittle and his crew after they led the first bombing raid on Tokyo during WWII. The Raiders took off in sixteen B-25s from the USS. Hornet aircraft carrier and then bailed out over China after bombing Tokyo. Pictured from L to R are Staff Sgt. F.A. Braemer, Bombardier; Staff Sgt P.J. Leonard, Engineer-Gunner; Kt. R.E.
