Fort Johnson, New York December 22, 1945Henry, the rooster who was decapitated a week ago, is still alive and functioning. He is being fed a mixture of mash, cracked corn and milk through the esophagus by local veterinarian Dr. Hugh Mount. He has gained one half pound, guides himself around by sound, clucks and attempts to crow, and answers to the name of "Henry".
