Description
California c. 1930 Indian women carried their babies with them as they did their daily work. The women wore a short skirt made of a front and a back apron, which were made of string, tules, or strips of bark or buckskin. Sometimes a deerskin was used for the back piece. Skins were worn over the shoulder in cold weather.
