Description
Newark, New Jersey, 1928These five women were poisoned while painting luminous watch dials, which they were told was of no danger, for the U.S. Radium Corporation and because they are now slowly dying of radium necrosis, they hastened to press suits for a quarter million dollars each and the five of them settled with the corporation for $10,000 each, an annuity of $600 each for as long as they live, and free medical and counsel fees.
